Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF30

Most of you are probably aware of BB creams and now the world is going mad for CC creams. CC stands for colour correcting and is a very light tinted cream that helps cover and correct redness in the skin.
I have been trying the Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF30 for a week now and wanted to share my first impression on it with you.

The Clinique CC Cream is the next generation perfecting formula, that colour corrects and hydrates the skin, it also contains UVA and UVB protection.
This is a very light formula and is best applied to the skin with your fingers. I find that it takes a little work to blend in but once it has warmed to the skins temperature it looks flawless. It evens outs the skin tone whilst still looking natural, I still needed concealer on my blemishes. This lasts all day on the skin without the need for touch ups, which is impressive on my combination skin.
As this is such a hydrating product it leaves the skin with a lovely glow and makes it look more awake and fresh. The fact that is also has an SPF 30 is a huge bonus.
As I have only been using this for a week I can't comment on any long term benefits to the skin but it always leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

I think this product is well packaged, it is in a squeeze tube which makes it easy to control how much product you use. You only need to use a small amount as pictured above, a little goes a long way.

Overall this is a great product, you can use it alone as a light coverage base or as primer type product if you want to go for a heavier coverage.
You can pick this up for £28 on the Clinique website and at Clinique counters.
