Nails Inc Spring/Summer 2013

O
The sun has been out a bit recently and its getting me really excited, it is amazing how much difference the sun makes.
As spring is hopefully on its way I thought it would be a great time to share with you the Nails Inc Spring/summer collection.
I pay much more attention to my nails in the summer months, I think I just prefer the pastels and brighter colours and this collection is full of both.

Stating with the top picture, on my thumb I have the colour Kensington Palace Gardens which is a pastel peach colour. This is the one colour that didn't apply as well as the others, the formula felt a bit thick and it applied slightly streaky. After two coats though you couldn't tell and I think this will be on my toes a lot once its flip flop weather.
Secondly we have Hampton Court Palace Gardens which is a bright orange colour that I love. This applied opaque in one coat and was streak free, this is my favourite I think. (I love them all)
On my ring finger I have Chelsea Physic Gardens. This is a baby blue colour which I think will look perfect with a tan. This only needed one coat which for a pastel shade is impressive.
The next colour is Primrose Hill Gardens. This colour unfortunately isn't coming up true to life in the photo, but it is a neon pink which is stunning. This has quite a thin texture so I did do two coats, I probably should of done three but it is well worth the effort. This is the only polish out of the six that has a matte texture.
On my ring finger is a mint green colour called Royal Botanical Gardens. If you go for shades like Essie Mint Candy Apple you will love this shade. This was a little streaky but once two coats were applied it was perfect.
Lastly is the shade Belgravia Gardens, this is your perfect nude shade and the one that I gravitated to first to apply on all my nails. Opaque in one coat and applied easily, you can't go wrong with a good nude.

Overall a fantastic collection and I am now set for the spring. You can pick this set up from Look Fantastic for £22 here

Which would you say is your favourite colour?

  11. I'm not really into nail polishes, however these look like great colours for Summer and I really need to start making an effort with my claws. My sister on the other hand is a nail obsessed freak and will love this so I am going to link this post to her facebook page now :) xxx
